I own the equivalent Nissan Carafe but the coffee splattered when pouring. I have many Zojirushi products and found them very well designed. I'm disappointed in the Carafe. To open you have to slide a button on top before pouring and then manually close it after. Too much work. Nissan is better. Zojirushi splatters coffee and drips too.

This product works great and is exactly what I expected. I was surprised another reviewer said it is too small. It is only one liter, but that is the size that I wanted and is one of the reasons I chose this product. If you do not think that one liter will be large enough for your purposes, choose to purchase a larger carafe.
I had expected to use this product on hot beverages, but because of the heat waves, I have instead been using it to make frozen frappes. I cool the carafe in the refrigerator ahead of time and then I pour in my frozen beverage. I only drink about 6-12 oz a day and the beverage actually stays frozen in the caraf (which is kept in my fridge) for a couple of days until I have polished off the whole liter. Very impressive.
I would definitely buy again and would whole-heartedly recommend. Clean-up is simple because the top of the caraf is so large. You don't need a funnel to fill it and it comes with a tiny brush to clean the pour spout in the lid. Zojirushi is the best for a reason.
